Originally, I grew up in the small community of Grant, LA. Of the few people who know where Grant is, most know it by the high school Fairview High School. After graduating from FHS, I attended McNeese State University, where I earned my degree in Art Education with a minor in English. I spent about three years teaching a combination of middle and high school before realizing I wanted to pursue a new field to further help members of the community. This decision led me to Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) where I studied to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Once I became a licensed PTA, I began working in skilled nursing facilities in north LA before my family decided to move back to Lake Charles. Since returning to the city, my husband and I have welcomed a beautiful baby girl to our family, and I joined the Thrive Tribe where I enjoy helping all our patients become better and stronger.
Kindness, empathy, and patience are core values I actively try to keep at the center of my life. I honestly believe that these three values can go a long way toward showing compassion for others and improve upon relationships in the world.

At Thrive Physical Therapy, I am the PTA of the clinic, I assist our therapists by following their specialized plan of care for the patients and developing exercises and activities to restore patients’ quality of life. I feel a great deal of satisfaction when we are able to help patients reduce their pain and improve how they feel when performing their daily activities. I love when our patients are able to perform activities they never thought they would be able to do again.
I enjoy working at Thrive Physical Therapy. I love working in such a positive environment. Every day, our staff is high-energy and incredibly encouraging when treating our patients. I truly believe we also have the best patients who work so hard at every session!
